Founding Kurdistan Democratic Party On August 16, 1946, an event occurred in the history and literature of the Party and part of its memories [1], and every year all its members, supporters, and the Peshmerga celebrate the anniversary of its founding with great enthusiasm, and they hold celebrations for this anniversary by various means, when the Peshmerga forces were carrying out guerrilla warfare activity and attacking Iraqi Army bases and military installations and inflicting heavy damage on them.

‌ One of these activities of the Peshmerga forces on this occasion was planning to strike at the Ba'athist military installations. This activity of the Peshmerga forces consisted of the attack on the Iraqi Army outposts on the Said Sadiq-Chandri road. After the Peshmerga attacked their bases and fought a fierce battle with them, they did what they wanted and inflicted heavy damage on them, and the Peshmerga were not harmed. However, after their return, they fell into an ambush set for them by the Army, and after heroic resistance and a heated battle, four Peshmerga were martyred, namely (Commander Abu Bakr Haji Osman, Ali Rasul, Deputy responsible for the Regional Committee, Jalal Muhammad Dulsuri, and Shihab San Ahmed)[2].

It is worth noting that the Peshmerga forces were always fighting with a well-thought-out plan and carried out military activities to continue the struggle for the rights of the people of Kurdistan, as they inflicted great losses on their enemy through the attack on Iraqi government military bases and institutions. Even during occasions and celebrations, they did not allow the aggression to see its policy stable, but rather dealt it a strong blow and inflicted damage on it. This served as a message to government officials that the revolution is ongoing and continues in the form of guerrilla warfare here and there, harming the interests of the government and the Ba'athist regime.
