Masoud Mustafa Kake Hama Hussein, who is known as (Masoud Salayi), joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) in the Year 1964. In the Year 1974, he became a member of the Khabat district committee, which included all the general secretariats of the September Revolution. In the Year 1984, he became a member of the media board of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the Year 1989, at the Tenth Congress, he became a member of the Central Committee. In the Year 2005, he was appointed as the head of the Central Organization Bureau. In the Year 2016, he became the head of the Oversight and Investigation Board.
Biography
Masoud Mustafa Kake Hama Hussein, who is known as (Masoud Salayi), was born in the city of Kirkuk in the Year 1948. He studied in the same city until the preparatory stage. In the Year 1965, he graduated from the Teachers' Institute, literature department. In the Year 1966, he was accepted into the law department at the University of Baghdad, but in the second stage of university, in the Year 1967, he left his studies. After the defeat of the September Revolution in the Year 1975, he crossed into Iran as a refugee and lived there. After the uprising of the Year 1991, he returned to Kurdistan. Salayi was proficient in the Kurdish, Arabic, Turkish, Persian, and English languages.
Work HistoryIn the Year 1964, he joined the ranks of the Party (KDP) and in the same year, in the city of Kirkuk, he became an internal Peshmerga. In the Year 1965, he was appointed as the head of the Dubiz organization committee, affiliated with the Kirkuk district committee and affiliated with the third branch committee. In the Year 1966, on the border of Sulaymaniyah province, he participated in the Qaradagh war against the army of the Republic of Iraq. In the Year 1967, he was appointed as the head of the organization committee outside Kirkuk, affiliated with the Kirkuk district committee and affiliated with the third branch committee. In the Year 1967, when he was a second-year law student at the University of Baghdad, he was arrested and tortured by the Ibrahim Ahmad – Jalal Talabani group. Later, he was handed over to the Iraqi General Security Agency and because of this, he was permanently deprived of education. In the years 1967 - 1968, he was detained and imprisoned in the Kirkuk prison and the Bab Al-Shat prison in the city of Mosul.
On October 6, 1986, he participated in the resistance against the attack of the armed forces of the Ibrahim Ahmad – Jalal Talabani group, which took place with the support of the ground forces of the Iraqi army in the Jabari and Qara-Hasan areas, on the border of Kirkuk province. On October 13, 1968, under the command of Ali Qasim, who is known as Ali Shingali and was a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he participated in the war of Mount Silbato on the border of Kirkuk province, against the forces of the Ibrahim Ahmad – Jalal Talabani group. In the Year 1970, he was a representative to the Eighth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, but he did not attend. In the Year 1974, he became a member of the Khabat district committee which included all the general secretariats of the September Revolution. Before the Year 1983, he worked in the administration department of the Political Bureau.
On November 2, 1983, he was transferred as a member of the editorial board for the media department. On December 12, 1983, he became a member of the organization in the organization committee of the Political Bureau headquarters. On July 16, 1985, he was established in the media editorial board. In the Year 1984, he became a member of the media board of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the Year 1985, he served at the Voice of Kurdistan Radio. On October 5, 1985, he became a member of the branch committee in the second branch committee. In the Year 1986, he was a member of the editorial board of Sefin magazine, the organ of the second branch committee. In the Year 1986, he was appointed as a member of the third branch committee. On April 1, 1987, he participated in the ceremony of the 53rd anniversary of the founding of the Iraqi Communist Party in the Qaradagh area. In the years 1986 - 1987, he was the editor-in-chief of Babegurgur magazine. In the Year 1989, he was elected by the congress representatives as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Tenth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party). On January 13, 1990, he was appointed as a member of the media committee.
In the Year 1991, he participated in the uprising of South Kurdistan. In the Year 1993, he was elected by the congress representatives as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Unified (11th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party). In the Year 1993, he was appointed as the head of the third branch committee of Kirkuk. On November 15, 1994, on behalf of President Masoud Barzani, he participated in the first day of the founding congress of the Kurdistan Socialist Democratic Party in the city of Erbil. In the Year 1994, he became a member of the Central Organization Bureau and after a while, he was appointed as the head of the Central Organization Bureau. In the Year 1995, he published articles in the Birayati newspaper, the organ of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Unified. On February 8, 1996, with the intention of participating in the 17th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, he visited the city of Tehran with a delegation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Unified. On Monday, July 28, 1997, he participated with President Masoud Barzani in the city of Erbil in the opening of the Fourth Congress (Congress of Equality).
In the year 1997, he was a teacher of organizational studies at the Cadre Institute of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city of Erbil. In the year 1999, he was elected by the congress representatives as a reserve member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (12th Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party) in the third rank. In the year 2000, he welcomed a delegation of Arab intellectuals. In the year 2001, he was a teacher of organization, program, and internal regulations courses of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Unified in the city of Erbil. On Thursday, November 29, 2001, he participated with President Masoud Barzani in the graduation ceremony of the twelfth course of the Cadre Training Institute in the city of Erbil.
On Thursday, June 6, 2002, in the town of Pirmam, he participated in the joint meeting of the two Political Bureaus of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, and they discussed the electricity problem and the federalism project. From February 14, 2004, to April 14, 2004, he was a teacher of the organization course in the fourteenth course of the Cadre Institute of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the town of Pirmam. In the years 2004 - 2010, he was a member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the year 2005, he was appointed as the head of the Central Organization Bureau. In the year 2007, he was a teacher of the organization course in the sixteenth course of the Cadre Institute of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city of Erbil. In the year 2016, he was appointed as the head of the Oversight and Investigation Board. On Tuesday, August 7, 2018, in the city of Erbil, he participated in the opening of the Eighth Congress (Peshmerga Congress) of the Kurdistan Democratic Youth Union.
