Martyr Qadir Mela Hesen was born in 1959 in the village of Wertê in the Ruwandiz district, affiliated with Erbil province. He was a villager, engaged in farming, educated, and married.

In 1979, he joined the Balek district committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK) and became a Peshmerga. He participated in the battles of the Balek area, and in 1982 he was martyred in the village of Wertê by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK).
