About us

The Encyclopedia Board of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) was established in 2014 at the proposal of Mr. Masrour Barzani, to introduce, collect, document and publish the full of pride history of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP). In addition to trying to fulfill the above tasks, the Encyclopedia Board has a rich library and archive. Since its establishment, it has published several books and continues to publish them. The Encyclopedia Board owns the website, which consists of several columns and its works and publications can be obtained in PDF format. The Encyclopedia Board is headquartered in Pirmam district and has strong ties with Kurdistan universities and academic centers. It has its own pages on Facebook, Telegram and Instagram.

Badin Dezuye
Born in 1918 in the village of “Dezu”, Badin Qadr, also known as Badin Dezuye was a Peshmerga and a comrade of Barzani for the Soviet Union. He participated in the second Barzani revolution and the “Aylul” revolution. Moreover, he was a Peshmerga in the Republic of Kurdistan in Mahabad. He was killed in 1963 in the village of “Spindara”.
