The results of our heavy artillery shelling on the days 18, 19, and 20/8 were enemy losses as follows: destruction of two Russian-type tanks, destruction of two mortar batteries, destruction of two 25-pounder guns, the burning of the entire battalion ammunition depot, and the explosion of all ammunition for five hours. More than (100) soldiers, officers, and non-commissioned officers were killed and wounded. The enemy stopped shelling for one day and was unable to make any movement. Also, the camp was evacuated and its forces were distributed inside houses for fear of our heavy artillery shelling. The brutal enemy shelled safe villages on the outskirts of the camp, causing the burning of houses in the village of Gardasoran and wounding one child not exceeding seven years of age. The morale of our forces is high, and the morale of the enemy is very collapsed. Such is the fate of all enemy camps and forces. Victory to our liberation forces under the shadow of our inspiring leader Mustafa Barzani.
