In 1931, he joined the Peshmerga Forces of Barzan's First Revolution (1931- 1932), led by Sheikh Ahmed Barzani, and became a Peshmerga. On 3 April 1932, he was one of the Peshmerga who participated in the Doolawaji battle.
In 1943, he joined the Peshmerga Forces of Barzan's Second Revolution (1943-1945) and became a Peshmerga. In 1945, after the defeat of the revolution, he went to Eastern Kurdistan and participated in the Kurdistan Democratic Republic. He became a Peshmerga in the Barzan Force and participated in the battles of Naqada and Shno. On 25 March 1947, he was martyred on the Shno front.
