Fatah Nemat Ose, known as (Fatah Sindi), was born in 1937 in the village of Mergeshish in the Sindi region, which is part of the Zakho district. After finishing his primary and secondary education in Zakho, he was employed as an employee at the Ain Zala Oil Company. In 1959, he joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In coordination with the Peshmerga force, they were able to cause great damage to the Ain Zala Oil Company and record a historic achievement. Because of the resonance of that attack by the Peshmerga, the Ba'ath regime issued an order for the arrest of Fatah Sindi. The first time, he was imprisoned for two months in the city of Mosul, but after a while, he was released. Once again, by court order, he was imprisoned for nearly three years and was transferred to the Nugra Salman prison in the city of Samawa in southern Iraq (southern Iraq)..
