Martyr Hamed Mela Sufi was born in 1945 in the village of Wertê, affiliated with the Ruwandiz district. He was illiterate, married, and was martyred in 1994.
In 1980, he joined the clandestine organizations of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1994, he became a Peshmerga in the Mustafa Werti Brigade of the Soran Army, and in the same year he was martyred in the civil war in the village of Wertê.
