Karim Fattah Qadir was born in the Year 1902 in the village of Hassan Awa, belonging to Halabja Governorate. He was a villager and worked in agriculture. He was married to Kafiya Muhammad and was a father to two sons and two daughters (Omar, Ahmad, Khawar, Bahia). One of his sons (Omar) was martyred with him while they were besieged by soldiers of the Iraqi regime.
He joined the ranks of the Peshmerga in the Year 1963 through the main cell headed by Abdullah Baghdadi within the Noroli organization in the Faraj Haji Mahmoud company, belonging to the Khabat battalion of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.
In the Year 1963, he returned with the Martyr Hama Gulpi and a group of his Peshmerga comrades to the village of Hassan Awa to take a rest and secure their supplies. They were discovered, and a large force of the Iraqi regime's army besieged the village. After clashes between the two sides, Hama Gulpi and a number of his comrades were able to escape, but Karim Fattah Qadir and three of his comrades (Omar Karim Fattah, Haji Karim, Salih Muhammad Ali) were arrested and shot at the entrance of the village and were martyred instantly.
