Politician, Ismail Aziz Mustafa Abdullah, known as Sheikh Ismail Mullah Aziz, Sheikh Ismail Safi, Sheikh Ismail Hirani, Ismail Mullah Aziz Hirani and Tariq, in the year 1963 he was a representative of the General Congress in the Koya district (the first of the people) affiliated with Erbil Governorate, in the year 1964 he stood against the Political Bureau faction, in the year 1964 at the Sixth Congress he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, in the year 1964 he was appointed as a member of the Revolutionary Command Council in Iraqi Kurdistan, in the year 1966 at the Seventh Congress he was elected as a member of the Central Committee of the Party, on the 15 of April 1967 he was a representative of the Kani Samaki military-political conference in Erbil, in the year 1970 at the Eighth Congress in the village of Nawprdan affiliated with Erbil Governorate, he was elected by the congress representatives as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

Biography

Ismail Aziz Mustafa Abdullah was born in the year 1943 in the city of Erbil, from the family of the Sheikhs of Hiran, who belong to the Qadiri order, a descendant of the Kurdish poet and Sufi Mustafa Abdullah Ali known as Safi Hirani and Kak Mustafa Hirani (1873-1942) and the nephew of the Kurdish poet and Sufi Sheikh Abdullah Ali Mustafa known as Sani ( - 1906), his family starts from Sheikh Suleiman Beg, the leader of the Mir Mahmar clan of the Khoshnaw tribe, who came from Eastern Kurdistan to Southern Kurdistan and it is likely that they arrived in the Khoshnaweti region with the campaign of Khan Ahmad Khan Ardalan and Sheikh Suleiman Beg received the Qadiri order from Sheikh Taha al-Badlisi.

The Sheikhs of this family are known as the Kaki Hiran, but according to the manuscript (Siraj al-Salikin) written by Sheikh Hussein Qazi Barzanji, a personality like Mustafa Khoshnaw known as Shami, along with Sheikh Ismail Barzanji, returned from the city of Baghdad to the village of Qazanqaya affiliated with Sulaymaniyah Governorate, today, and received the Qadiri tariqa from Sheikh Ismail and after a while requested permission and returned to the city of Koya and the Khoshnaweti region, on the date of 25 of October 1979 by an order of the Revolutionary Command Council he was appointed as a General Director in the Ministry of Local Government, on the 10 of June 2017 he passed away due to illness at the Par Hospital in the city of Erbil and was buried in the family cemetery of the Sheikhs of Hiran in the town of Hiran affiliated with Erbil Governorate. He was proficient in the Kurdish, Arabic, Persian and Turkish languages.

In the year 1970 in the village of Nawprdan, located in Erbil Governorate, he was elected by the Congress representatives at the Eighth Congress as a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. On Sunday, the 16 of August 1970 in the city of Erbil, on the occasion of the twenty-fourth anniversary of the founding of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, he read the statement of the Second Branch Committee. In the year 1970 he was a member of the Kurdish Scientific Society (Jam'iyat al-Thaqafa al-Kurdiyah). In the year 1970 he was an administrator of the Fifth Branch Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In the year 1999 he was a representative of the Twelfth Congress of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in the city of Erbil.
