Martyr Sherzad Abdulrahman Hamid was born in 1972 in Bardarash town, belonging to Akre district in Duhok Governorate. He studied through primary school and was unmarried. He was martyred in 1996.
In 1991, after the popular uprising in South Kurdistan, he joined the Kurdistan Democratic Party. In 1995, he became a Peshmerga in the Sidayakan Army and took part in battles in Sidayakan and Balakayati. On August 21, 1996, he was martyred in the internal war at Mount Boli in Sidayakan.
