Ibrahim Muhammad Sulaiman was born in Year 1963 in the village of Walah Samat at the foot of Mount Sorin, belonging to the Sayyid Sadiq district in Sulaymaniyah Governorate. Initially, he lived in the village and completed his primary education there, and after the setback of the Aylul Revolution the Iraqi regime destroyed the villages and forcibly distributed the residents of those villages to a number of complexes under its control. As a result of this measure, Ibrahim Muhammad was settled in the Shanidar complex near Sayyid Sadiq.
Ibrahim Muhammad Sulaiman joined the ranks of the Peshmerga in Year 1981 under the leadership of Anwar Haji Osman in the Sorin forces belonging to the Darbandikhan Regional Committee within the Fourth Branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He participated in the Battle of Razla and Parzan, the Battle of Balkha, guerrilla warfare activities in the Sharazur Plain, the Battle of Nalparez, and the Battle of Kuloz.
In July 1983, a number of Peshmerga, led by Anwar Haji Osman, after carrying out one of the guerrilla warfare activities in the Sharazur Plain, hid in the houses of the Shanidar complex for several days until the situation normalized. However, Ibrahim Muhammad Sulaiman was arrested by one of the mercenary (Jash) leaders and handed over to the Sayyid Sadiq Security Department, and then transferred to the Kirkuk City Security Authority. After being imprisoned for seven months, he was sent to Abu Ghraib prison, where he was martyred after being executed in the aforementioned prison.
